Those were created by someone who was not known for his spelling. It is suspected that the proper spelling should be sward-chaku, but there is no proof of such.

Sword-chucks are a modern invention, by an English speaker, so they would follow English conventions. Thus, "Sword-chucks, yo."

According to my dictionary, nunchuk and nunchaku are equivalent, and the plural is either nunchaku or nunchakus.

'nunchucks', however, is right out.
