Dec. 14th, 2004 05:40 amOf Lord of the Rings: Third Age, which really isn't so hot (and which I enjoyed far more than I really should have), and of
Return to Mysterious Island, which I expected to be a lot worse.

Date: 2004-12-14 04:49 pm (UTC)There should be a project started to digitally insert them where they will bring hope to us all. (I'm not naming names here, but I for one can picture a large white building that would be greatly enhanced by being squish-fodder for that giant statue from Jason and the Argonauts.)

Date: 2004-12-14 07:35 pm (UTC)Plus I'm pretty sure there's been at least one or two Middle Earth games out on PS/2 already. I've noticed a PS/2 game based on The Hobbit knocking around the video game store shelves.

Date: 2004-12-15 05:10 am (UTC)1) LotR: Fellowship of the Ring
2) LotR: The Two Towers
3) LotR: Return of the King
4) LotR: The Third Age
5) The Hobbit which is nothing like a LotR game
6) LotR: The Treason of Isengard, which was cancelled.
And none of these hold up to being compared to the SNES Fellowship. *shudder*

Date: 2004-12-17 11:15 am (UTC)...Say. As long as you're over here, maybe you can offer a bit of help. I've been eyeing an Xbox, because I clearly don't have enough to do gamewise. (Also because I've been looking at Crimson Skies and Panzer Dragoon Orta with deep heartfelt longing for the last year and a half or so, but that's beside the point.) Is a Live account worth maintaining even if I'm not going to use it that often, for game updates and whatnot? Are Live-only content updates common or frequently seen as required?
I know nothing of this console, so I'm a little baffled now that I'm starting to pick up interest.
