Recordkeeping: Beyond Oasis COMPLETE

xyzzysqrlBeyond Oasis was a total whim. I was looking for something to throw on if a stream I was doing ran too short (it didn't) and grabbed a short action-RPG for a system I already had an emulator set up for. I'd KNOWN about Beyond Oasis (it came in an official emulation collection) and I'd tried to play it a time or two and bounced off, but this time I was gonna stick with it.
100% worth it, fantastic choice, I feel like I tripped over -- if not a diamond in the rough, then at least an emerald in the trash. The animation: great. The music: great. The level design ...
...a little more puzzle-heavy and rough than I'd like? There were some "puzzles" at the end that boiled down to "do some seemingly unrelated things until a key appears" or "don't use your power in an obvious way, but a second less obvious and rarer way" and... mmhhhh I dunno it was FAIR but touchy.
On the whole I really liked this and am looking forward to the sequel/prequel "Legend of Oasis" sometime.
