Based on a movie you probably haven't seen, Sierra's "The Black Cauldron" was one of my very first adventure games and arguably one of the things responsible for THIS whole mess. It's amazing to me how short it is, compared to the space it takes up in my mind.
As I said in the video I've played and replayed it more times than I can count, and really getting it on HERE was just a formality. I cannot not love this game, even with its flaws. Even with the way it's like an hour long if you know what you're doing. Even with the wonky Sierra instant-death maze and the teleporting henchman and so on.
It is of course nothing like the books, but. Hey. Childhood.
