At the same time as I was playing Far Cry 6's bloody murder festival, I was Twitch-streaming this lovely and sedate (if poorly translated) game about hanging out underwater in an AI-equipped submarine looking at fish and hunting for a missing researcher.
It... goes places. Wow, does it go places.
The playlist on that is here and I loved every moment of this game. The facial expressions alone are... are -beautiful-, honestly.
11/10, zero complaints.
...
I do want to say, though... there's a rant in the "Finale" two parter (because my internet went out) that I want to paraphrase here: I love when I can stream games that are expensive collector's items, because too often collectors do not open the games they own and I -desperately want- people to see the GAME part of the video game. I don't care if you own a shelf full of plastic-encased CDROMs and ROMchips if you never fucking play them. ... That's a lie, I do care. I hate you if you never play your collected games. You're factually incorrect. Endless shelf-display is NOT what those are for. Take them out and enjoy them.
