xyzzysqrlUff. I got sick in the middle there and actually burned out on this for a while, but I made an effort to complete it and did.
Came in as a Sora fan, leaving as a Roxas fan? Did not expect that. But the Axel/Roxas scene where they discuss... hey, what if we DID have hearts? really got me.
Also, all that rivalry, all the shit between Riku and Sora and it's cleared up in just a couple words.
Riku: "You know, I always figured I was better at stuff than you."
Sora: "Huh. Really?"
Riku: "...yeah. You're not mad?"
Sora: "No, I always kinda thought you were better at stuff than me too."
...and the air's clear. Riku, honey, did you really have to plunge eyeball deep into darkness for that? You could've asked any time.
I'm really glad I beat this again. I -will- go through with Birth By Sleep and Dream Drop Distance at some point in the future, but man I kiiiinda need a break from all things Kingdom Hearts for a while.
