Okay, I lied, this is the last post.
Positing about "Who Won" E3 is kind of a fool's game. For just about every game announced I heard a blend of "This is obvious warm garbage" and "This looks fantastic, I want two copies for multiplayer". In some cases about the same game from the same person.
E3 was also mostly a AAA-games showcase, and gaming is about much more than that. Indies did get a lot of love from Nintendo and Microsoft in particular. Obviously companies like Square-Enix, EA and Ubisoft were never going to go in on INDIES because they are actual corporations. Still, gaming is a huge spectrum. The PC show did its best to show me that, and while I got tired and bored after a while it was length, not width that had me tired.
Finally, yeah. E3 actually STARTS today proper, but I am le tired.
My personal highs:
Star Fox in Starlink.
Forza Horizon 4 looks beautiful.
Doom Eternal.
Return of Tales of Vesperia.
Tunic.
Ori 2.
Smash Brothers: Everybody Edition.
Kingdom Hearts.
Daemon X Machina
Argonian DLC for Elder Scrolls Online.
Todd Howard relentlessly trolling.
Assassin's Creed Greek Lady Adventures.
Spider-Man.
YAKUZA ON STEAM.
Sable.
That Shark RPG where you eat people.
My personal lows:
The Quiet Man underwhelmed me.
Sony's entire musical snoozefest, save for Spider-Man.
Fallout 76 announcing proudly that they recreated a beautiful West Virginia landscape so you can nuke it for better loot.
That's really all I can think of.
So who won E3?
I did. Video games are fun, you guys.
Thanks, see y'all later.
