Switch Get
Mar. 21st, 2018 01:53 pmWe got Mario and Zelda.
I mean what else do you need for reals.
I haven't really played either -- Mario I've dabbled in, for about an hour's worth of play. That's going to need some serious adjusting to the controls, because my enormous meat thumb is just ENGULFING the buttons, just hammering all four of them when I'm trying to jump, so Mario is simultaneously trying to jump, run, throw his hat and do his taxes or whatever. I may need a controller sized larger.
Zelda I'm saving for when I can stream my initial attempts and quietly back them up to Youtube, because I'm going to want to review them later when I suck less.
Various demos are great though. Pokken is strong and Blaster Master Zero is really fun (and they give you two entire levels to mess with).
Right now though, I have some other obligations, but Magical Nintendo Christmas has come and of course left me depressed because oh shit I spent money again.
Not that depressed though. I'll get over it. I have games.

Date: 2018-04-03 03:10 am (UTC)The Pro Controller has MUCH larger buttons than the JoyCons. And also a proper D-pad. It's kind of expensive, though.
There are also some generic wired pads that are pretty cheap, but they lack rumble and the NFC chip.
