Dream of Last Night: That fricking fandom is EVERYWHERE now.

So there's a really popular game out called Undertale, and the creator, Toby Fox, is making a new game whose "nature is shrouded in darkness".

Last night I dreamed that game came out, and it was ... a text-parser based fantasy MMO with a super-long queue time. Except it wasn't, really. What it WAS was him and a team of hand-picked volunteers cut-and-pasting high fantasy stuff into an Omegle client and pretending to be a parser-based fantasy MMO, treated with exactly as much seriousness as the player on the other end deserved.

Remembered snippet: "You have gained enough experience to level up. Available class evolutions: Swordsman, Ranger."

Also every combat encounter had options like "(H)ang out with Lorne the Kobold" or "(G)o Fishing With Brenna The Elephant Mechanic" alongside the usual (F)ight (M)agic (R)un menus.

So... that was a dream. Undertale fandom please get out of my head now.

Next Pathfinder group I am in, I am totally going to make a slacker Kobold named Lorne, who just wants to hang out and be cool.

I would probably hang out with Lorne. I bet Lorne would enjoy those glass globes you get at the mall that are full of plasma lightning. I imagine that might entertain Lorne for some time.
