Mmh. No, too much damning, not enough faint praise. Okay: This is a pretty short but solid Myst-esqe 3D puzzle game... I just lost 85% of y'all, I know ... with a few QUIRKS that make me irritated. It's quite minimalist and I feel like I can INFER a few things that happened, via logical connections in the game universe. That's already ahead of the curve, there, for Myst knockoffs that didn't understand what the game was doing.
That said, a number of rooms and puzzles eluded me until I finished the game and checked a guide, where I learned that they're totally optional (I mean, I had guessed because FINISHED THE GAME but hey) and also that at least one of them can't be solved by yourself (you need a friend with the game to... tell you something? Maybe? I didn't look into the solution very hard because I might replay this) and a few others are achievement-related easter eggs. That...
That only pisses me off BECAUSE I was not told in advance. This is me telling you about those things in advance. You're welcome. The game's so incredibly short (and I think it saves post-game) that trotting around finishing up the for-achievement-only probably wouldn't take much time. I'm just not sure why I would do that. (They're just achievements.)
