This is when I would usually post the end-of-year rewards and such, as well as some predictions or self-encouragement for next year.

Honestly though, I don't feel anything that happened this year deserves a reward, and I can't predict next year is going to go all that smoothly either.

So... Mostly this is just me acknowledging that the year will end soon and fighting the urge to slam the door on it a few times while it's halfway out.

I would say that you did quite a bit this year, and I personally feel that it was worthwhile.

Can you really call open-ended games like that "completable" in any sense, though? There is just too much STUFF. It is like a humongous burrito of content and before long you're puking fajitas of sidequest everywhere.

No, I agree with him. Metal Saga I'll give you, but Skyrim and FF11 are way too involved to finish in any kind of reasonable fashion.
