Doctor Day Results

Today was a doctor visit day! I went off and was checked over by a team* of qualified sqrl specialists** and we ran down the checklist.

Blood pressure: In the 130-140 range, checked twice during visit.
Family history: Updated with recent painful information.
Empathy: Deployed.
Breathing: I do that.
Eyes, Ears: Present.
Gender Parts: Present.
Flu shot: Administered.

("Okay, since you're going to be traveling soon this is kind of important."
"Aaaaaaa."
"Now I'm just--"
"AAAAAA."
"That's a medical wipe."
"aaa."
"Now I'm..."
"AAAAAA."
"That's my thumb."
"aa."
"Okay, I..."
"AAAAAAAAAAAA"
"...And the shot is done."
"AAAAAAAAAAA"
"You can stop any time."
"AAAAA...aa? ...Aaa."
"You're all right?"
"...aaa."
"Maybe just lay there a while.")

Bloodwork: Scheduled. I need to fast in a couple days (scheduled 9 AM on the 3rd, no food for 12 hours before then) and then they will take my blood and analyze it. Aaaaaa.
Food: Eaten.
Woof: Still comforting.

(Sqrl: *plays with woof's McNugget container. Boooing. Flickbooooing. Flickbooooing.*
Woof: "...are you a CAT now? Should I just get you an empty box full of bubble wrap for Christmas?"
Sqrl: "DO NOT TEMPT ME, FRODO."
Woof: "Or what?"
Sqrl: "Popping. All night long as you try to sleep."
Woof: "Pfft, I can sle--"
Sqrl: "Every item in the fridge wrapped with bubble wrap. Your PC mouse, wrapped with bubble wrap. Your SOCKS, wrapped in bubble wrap."
Woof: "Well--"
Sqrl: "INDIVIDUALLY WRAPPED SOCKS."
Woof: "This is why the roll I have for shipping is way up on a top shelf, where you can't possibly reach it.")

God damn tall people.

Anyway...

OVERALL HEALTH: Nominal.

* - this is a lie, it's just one guy.
** - this is also a lie, nobody specializes in me.

My needle regimen would have you mute. You'd wear out your voice with AAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

I'm lucky I'm only on quarterly blood tests, though I was taught to self inject when I broke my leg, that was surprisingly easy... That's a little disturbing really.

I hope you don't need another needle for a VERY long time :)
