Attention, Internet! Attention!

If any of you intrepid webbernauts can find me a Bittorrent of a cartoon show called "Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century", I will give you my pure and eternal undying love and devotion!

I saw an episode by pure coincidence today and it included a time-displaced Sherlock Holmes, a robot Dr. Watson with GIANT CYBERNETIC ARMS, and Inspector Lestrade reimagined as a HOT ANIME CHICK all hanging out on the SURFACE OF THE MOON and fighting GIANT ROBOTIC WEREWOLVES (sent by a CLONE of Dr. Moriarty) using LASER GUNS and BASIC PHYSICS and the Apollo MOON ROVER.

The entire time it was on I had this expression that was a cross between "I just saw GOD!" and "...what am I watching...?" I actually went and woke up the boyfriend to drag him out and verify that no, really, this was actually on television, because if I didn't do that I would have assumed I was dreaming.

Clearly someone here in the Post-Good-Cartoon Era has tapped into the absolute fricking genius that made cartoons in the eighties such a goddamn BLAST to watch, and I am damn near drooling at the prospect of seeing more of this series. There's a single three-episode DVD of it on Netflix, but that is not enough. I require the whole thing as soon as possible, because I am filled with so much joy at the knowledge of this show existing that I am going to explode. Please, -anyone- who knows how I can see more of this, I beg you for information.

Later today or possibly tomorrow I will be making a post containing music that makes me happy. Watch for it if you like music.

Oh yeah that show rocks. There's also a group of new london street rats that help Sherlock out from time to time. One of them has no mouth and rides around in a miniature dune buggy. XD


But yeah, Sherlock Holmes was preserved in honey and reanimated by future tech, the police robot read the journal of Dr. Watson and thought that HE was Dr. Watson, and this little troll guy made a clone of Dr. Moriarty.

Very fun show, but I have no idea where you could find it online.

Oh god I thought I was the only one who watched that show..and sparingly because it's flys in the face of logic so much..yet it's very, very watchable. Much like Phamtom 2040 was.

It just... resonated with me -so much-. Jaw-dropping weirdness presented with completely straightforward deadpan style. I respect and admire that. It's a rare show that manages it.

I dunno. Around here in Southern California, it tends to come on at 11 AM on the channel Nobody Ever Watches for Saturday Morning Cartoons, aka UPN.

Around here it was on at 8, and I think on channel 18... it may just be Saturday mornings. It was during the 'Wonderful World of DIC' or something...

A pity you didn't ask about this sooner (like three or four months back), because Yahoo used to have episodes of Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century to view for free (along with various other DIC cartoons) on their kids site Yahoolagins. Unfortunately they seemed to have removed all the DIC content for some reason. I can't find a torrent anywhere, but you can always get the DVD they release rather cheaply at stores (I got my copy for like five bucks).
