Another Musical Post.

The industrious
misangeles has prodded me to do the "Post Seven Songs You Are Into Right Now" memethinger, and because I need no excuse whatsoever to ramble about music and nostalgia and crud, I am doing it.
7. Globe - Genesis of Next
I have no idea what they're singing in this song. I can catch snippits of what sounds like "Lonely planet" and "I can't get you out of my mind" and that kind of thing, but that's it. However it's a haunting and bouncy dance track you may have heard remixed to hell and back if you've bothered to catch Cyborg 009 on Cartoon Network and sit through the end credits.
6. Max Raabe - Tainted Love
Ah, Max. You wacky German bandleader you. Keep up the good work.
5. Segata Sanshiro - Segasaturn Shiro!
Wikipedia has the lyrics to this, translated and transliterated. A stirring saga of Sega. Get the MP3 over here: Zany VG Quotes.
4. Placebo - Every You, Every Me
I actually kind of like this band. I have no idea if they're obscure, well-known, or whatever. But they're one of the few american rock bands I like, because the lead singer sounds as if he was tragically born without a nose.
3. Aqua - Happy Boys and Girls
Swedish people always remind me to be HAPPY, damnit. ... You know, I need more Abba, too. I am not kidding.
2. The Pillows - I Think I Can
More rocky goodness, and I can't get past the ending chorus of "I THINK - I CAN" shouted over and over without cranking the volume to a level which promises that I will develop severe hearing issues later in my life.
1. Guilty Gear XX - Blue Water Blue Sky
...man, I am just totally insane for random Japanese stuff, aren't I?

By the way, I mistook your "Song" as the Geki Gangar 3 theme from Nadesico - which kinda rocks, even if it's supposed to be a parody.
