Yet again, what am I thinking?

First off, proving that I can be a goddamn preview ninja when it comes to turnover time for the really good stuff, Worthplaying has a preview of Mobile Suit Gundam Versus Zeta Gundam up and posted. This game makes me all tingly and squirmy inside. Rrrr.

Also, I present for commentary the last few minutes of the dream I was having this morning. This was a conversation between myself and a street vendor in a hot dusty Arabian-esqe town:

"So what's that stuff over there?"
"Penguin cheese!"
"...penguin. Cheese."
"Yes! It is VERY rare!"
"Why is it so rare?"
The vendor leans in close, shifty-looking.
"...it is rare because penguins... do not have nipples."

On this phrase, I woke up.

My subconscious mind is trying to tell me something, I know it. I just can't think what.

I saw this once.

I have family members with questionable taste, and as such I occasionally see bits of TV shows like America's Funniest Animals. One episode had footage of a bitch (spaniel, IIRC) who had lost her puppies and in their place adopted a cockatiel; the latter being clearly a clever bird, as it had indeed figured out how to suck a nipple with its beak.

Inter-species relations on basic cable. What a world, what a world.

That maybe, sometimes, the furry community takes itself too seriously, and that in all but the most important of issues, such as cheese, it doesn't really MATTER if a penguin has nipples.
