Some of you may have heard rumors that it is some kind of "burf day" for me.

These are lies. I do not age. I have been hovering between the ages of six and twelve for the last fifteen years. It is currently some time in 1989 more or less, in the small sphere of space that encompasses me. I understand there have been some advances in the outside world, but largely, aside from Cool Futuristic Technology like they show on Battlestar Galactica and Buck Rogers and Robotech which I gladly steal from you "futurenauts" living beyond the border of the millennium and take back in time with me, these advances do not interest me.

The Internet itself did give me a "burf dai pressont" however, in the form of this. A complete (or getting there) archive of the Dr. Demento show.

Hooray for being age 6-12!

Sleepytime now.

This, I would assume, includes intarwebs and spinny disc game boxes.

You burfed! Congratulations! I am living in denial of my impeding burfiversary myself, as I hear rumors that people plan to Do Things (tm) for it.

Of course, I share my burfday with another holiday of recent invention (http://www.steakandbjday.com/), which, I suppose, only makes it more amusing, as that's about all I'd want for it in the first place.

*grins* I recommend, instead of having a 'birthday', you have a 'Honor Your Peter Pan Oath' day. :)
