xyzzysqrlCouldn't sleep tonight, so I sat up playing Final Fantasy Theatrhythm: Curtain Call. This is a music game where you assemble a party with various skills and go tap-tap-tap on your 3DS's touchscreen through something like 200+ songs worth of Final Fantasy musical history. It's fun!
Then I suddenly unlocked the End Boss Fight against Chaos and went "uh fuck what" and flailed around and somehow won. I happened to be training up a group of the lower level characters (Faris (FFV), Celes (FFVI), Paine (FFX-2) and Vanille (FFXIII)) so I kind of had very little in the way of outgoing damage, but I think all you have to do is survive the fight to unlock him.
So I did. And then I unlocked the credits reel which is COMPLETELY GODDAMN INSANE.
Then I stopped playing for a bit. So I'm... I've seen the credits? But there's a lot of characters I haven't unlocked. Also a lot of songs I haven't played. And every time I try Garuda's theme from FFXIV on Expert my arm drops off at the shoulder.
Also I have made it my hobby to use the Online Versus mode to force the less-popular Final Fantasy soundtracks on people. "Hello stranger! Would you like some Mystic Quest music? How about FFX-2? Ooh, wait, don't disconnect. I bet you'd love some Crystal Chronicles. I think you're really going to lik-- oh there's the disconnect. Oh well."
So... not finished, but... credits = "complete". Thus I tally it here.
