Commentary without much to say.

Hey!
Sorry.
It's really fricking cold, for the record. That's kind of a pain, I'd say. I'd rather it be too cold than too hot, at least.
It's come to my attention that I severely abuse the common comma. I should stop doing that at once.
Currently my day looks like it will consist of lazy typing, some sleep since I woke up around 1 AM or so, and then more typing.
It also occurs to me that maybe some people don't know this, but I'm on AIM and Yahoo Messenger Thingie as XyzzySqrl, and on ICQ at number 136366264. Feel free to prod me any time of the day or night. I'm probably there and it's rare I mind things like that.
Saw this today or yesterday I think. Toys Backward-R Us, putting themselves on the auction block so they can focus on baby stuff. No more Toys R Us? Gods. What's left? Kay-Bee? FAO Schwartz? (Answer: No and no. Target and Walmart. Barf.) There goes another chunk of my childhood. But then, who focuses today on the stuff -I- wanted as a kid? Action figures galore? Nope. No one wants it. I'd take it if it were offered, but when I was a kid I used to imagine having an elaborate room filled with cool playsets and crud. I guess technically I'm marginally more mature now, but...
I'd still PLAY with 'em, is all I'm saying.
Ah well. Anyway, I'm rambling. Shushing now.
Sorry.

Date: 2004-12-16 09:57 pm (UTC)Sadly, not even Target and Walmart are the hottest goers around, I don't think.
That Toys R Us is five minutes ON FOOT from the local mall. You know what kills its business? Those fucking Hermit Crab kiosks. Or the ones that sell the all-in-one craptacular that has roughly 4 million poorly emulated NES games.
Or it could be that the age of the Video Game is well and truly upon us, and kids are more interested in punking up some ass nigga homie in GTA San Antonio than in playing, you know, outside.
...GTA San Antonio. Fuck, rather than going back and correcting that, I'll torture the rest of you with the mental image of gangs fighting over Pace picante.
