xyzzysqrlSo I walked out to the Not Very Ass-Kicking But Tasty Anyway Sandwich Shop that's a little ways down the road today and I noticed... they have this Holiday Spice Pepsi thing.
I've never had that. Admittedly I'm not big on Pepsi, but I thought: Yeah! Okay! I am an adventuresome and sort of stupid fellow, let's drink random fluids RIGHT NOW!
Anyway, I'm finishing it off as I type. But I'm not going back for seconds. It's the most mutable drink I've ever had, a phrase which here means not that it will turn me into some sort of rampaging doom creature, but that the flavor keeps changing on me.
Here, in the spirit of something or other, is a chart of assorted Holiday Spice Pepsi results. Roll 1d6.
1- A strongly sweet taste, perhaps that of normal Pepsi (I don't drink this often, I don't recall just how normal Pepsi tastes.)
2- A sort of oddly musky, bittersweet flavor.
3- A taste much like that of Coca-Cola, except more intense. Very acidicly flavored.
4- Dry, cinnimony aftertaste, but NO FLAVOR WHATSOEVER in the mouthful of soda.
5- Kind of like that one kind of spicy cookie that your aunt gave to you when you were a little kid. Nutty. Not bad.
6- HOLY CRAP IT BURNS MY THROAT AND TONGUE THEY'RE MELTING AUUUUUUGH
In conclusion, Holiday Spice Pepsi probably tastes like Pepsi with some spice in it. Aren't I Captain Insight today?
(Join me tomorrow as I observe that some days of the year are really hot, and some other ones are really cold. I'm not sure, but there seems like there's a pattern to this somewhere too.)
