Animal Crossing PROPER post, here we go.
I wake up! I notice my house is bigger, so I pull some stuff out of storage and strew it about. Always feels good to get some extra room going. Eventually I will come up with a better method of decorating than "a bunch of random stuff jammed up against the walls". I swear.

Before leaving the house I strap on my color belt and put a star in my hair. This outfit would work better if I were blonde, but no hairstyling for me for a while yet.

It's then that I spot Saharah walking around, so I give her some money to come back to my place and redecorate. Why not? They would have already evaluated me with the robo-wall, so... What's the worst that could possibly happen?

... Well. That's... I did ask about the "worst". I put the green mountainy wall back up, leave the floor alone, and head outside again.

Saharah, what. I... I have to go, Saharah. I have to see what the Happy Home people thought of how my house looked yesterday. I am leaving now at a high rate of speed. Let's see. Lyle rated my house at 5121 points. "20,000-30,000 points is ideal for a home like yours." Uff da. COLLECT MORE STUFF. Sadly, Timmy/Tommy have nothing in particular I want today... except for one thing. A megaphone!
Now, the megaphone is GREAT. The 3DS has a built-in microphone, so you can yell the name of a villager at your 3DS and they will answer! So I yell "OZZIE!" at my game system...

And Ozzie answers, and the woof stares at me like I've lost my goddamn mind. These are all positive things! Or I hold my 3DS up and go *PBBBBHBHBBHHT* with my tongue, and...

Saharah knows that I just looked at my new wallpaper again!
Okay, that was mean. Funny and true, but mean. Sorry. ... Not sorry.
I also notice with some surprise that someone new is moving in by the river! It's ...

Blaire! I LIKE Blaire. Blaire is a squirrel who looks like a skunk but is really a squirrel and who was a friend of mine in City Folk. She's stuck on fashion, but kind of awesome anyway and surprisingly friendly for a stuck-up type villager. I'm excited to have her back! Sparro, meanwhile, tries to get a thing going with calling me "S Dog". I shoot him down (figuratively) and he grumps around for a while.
Donated to the museum today: A diplo skull and a stego torso. Turnip prices today: 96 bells. That's a hard dip. I'll have to see if there's a regular trend or what...
Ozzie makes an interesting suggestion about the town...

I have no idea what a "balloon arch" is, but maybe I'll build one just to cheer people up. After the museum extension is paid off, of course. Still working on that front.
While I AM working on gathering up cash to pay that off, Mallary pops in to ask me a weird question.

...Well, heck, sure I do. Do I believe in unidentified flying objects? Sure, there are things that fly and I don't know what they are. Mallary, it turns out, has something else in mind.

"F" stands for floor. Oranges on her floor? She doesn't know who keeps leaving them there, but she eats them anyway. ... That's kinda screwed up, Mallary. Srsly.
Then I get that museum project paid off...

And get myself a well-deserved rest.
