Animal Crossing New Leaf SIDE POST 3 - More Pictures Of Stuff Yanked From The Ocean

Yesterday I got cranky over being all unable to reach the HEARTS of my townspeople, and I don't mean that in a creepy axe murderer way. I mean, I don't even HAVE an axe. Aheh. I mean it more in a "why can't I connect?" sort of way. My people need me! Yet, I have failed them. I did some soul-searching off on the Island for a while, so we have this side-post.

Goofy puns, ahoy!


There's a LOT I really like about this game, for the record. I wouldn't be playing it quite so hard if not for that.



I love the different musical themes, a different one every single hour. They're catchy and often laid-back.



You have a LOT more options for decoration, with things hung on the wall or custom patterns or more types of furniture.



They added like a hundred new villagers, items are easier to get, you have the option of dress/pants/skirt-wearing and optional shoes and socks...



There's diving, which I'm showing off here, too. That's new. There's also stuff I haven't shown off on the island, I'll have to take a tour sometime.



It's just a big wide awesome game, and that's why I'm still at it even if I DO get baffled about WHY things happen like they do.

I gotta say, Animal Crossing is the first game you've written about that I'd be tempted to play if it were available on a platform I actually own. :)

Aw, c'mon. It's a game where you compulsively over-harvest the fish, bug and fruit populations to fund the relentlessly expansion of your personal estate, all while being sucked deeper and deeper into crippling debt as you frantically collect material goods to make yourself look important.

How good can it be, really?
