Animal Crossing New Leaf SIDE POST - Island Life

So this is kind of a side-post, because I went off to the Island and I did fishing and bug-hunting for most of the night. I didn't want the start of tomorrow/today's REAL post to be all like "I CAUGHT STUFF" and then 700 pictures of me holding bugs and fish at the camera, so I've condensed them all here into one easily-skippable post. You're welcome.

Stuff that's really way too goddamn big oh my god that's a HUGE beetle.


Stuff that I want to save until I get a deer in my town and then mail to them as an elaborate wordplay joke!

These all went to the museum, but I have a bunch of fish chillin' and waiting for the stores to open tomorrow. Money money money.

The Creator, if He exists, has an inordinate fondness for beetles.

Wow, do you sleep?
But yeah, like 25% of all life on Earth is beetles, and this fact worries me every time I'm outdoors.

I find that, in general, beetles are good because they do the maintenance work. they move things around, they clean up. they don't really go out and hunt large prey. They'd rather not have anything to do with large creatures. They're not spiders, thank gods. Spiders will -hunt- you. They will bite you and turn your blood into jelly and kill you with one small, horribly painful bite. A beetle will bump you and go about its way.

I've decided to limit myself to one trip per day to the island. After 5-6 pm. because that's when sharks and large beetles worth up to 15k are out. then I fill up and head home, so I can sell and pay off my house one day at a time, or work on making my town prettier with new public works.

It was not. I finally got a shark, by the way, I didn't mention in the most recent post!

She had forgotten about the whole thing, apparently.

Oops. Oh well. Now I know there's a time limit.
