Assassin's Creed series FINISHED.

My mood is pretty dire today. Sad, grouchy, depressed.

Anyway, uh. I had a bunch of crap to say about the Assassin's Creed games, but I'm not going to because I feel all bleah. I will say that I feel like the Assassin's Creed series is one of the few series in gaming right now that's bothering to try to further the genre at all. The amount of historical research, effort, new ideas thrown at the wall until they stick... I really have a lot of respect for these games.

I mostly completed them all. 4 1/2 games, and then I hit a showstopper bug in Revelations. I was really enjoying myself up until then and now I feel all... I dunno, I don't have a conclusion.

Except I guess Assassin's Creed 3 is out in like a week, and I preordered that. So I will GET -a- goddamn conclusion. That's good.

Anyway I need something to do for a week. Something unlike the Assassin's Creed series. C'mon, Hat. No whammies. STOP.




Hat Game 13: Crysis. Looks like I get to see if my PC can handle this.

I am interested to see you go into AC, if only for your comment about historical research. Frankly, from what I have seen, the series' approach to historical accuracy seems to be as much guided by Rule of Cool as it's attitude to everything else (And since the science of the game uses the old Genetic Memory chestnut, that's a lot)

Amusingly, it's his -back- that looks angry. Maybe you could sort of pour the tea in an access port.
