Caveat emptor - whereas game resellers (see: GameStop) typically have a return policy if the hardware is defective, all sales are final and as-is at pretty much any pawn shop, so if you get a lemon of a machine, you're stuck with it and without the $75 you paid for it. Most pawn brokers are reputable enough to not sell unworking electronics, but you never know.
