Well... there's good and bad points to having turned in the job application.

One is that I got to briefly talk to the boss, who was distracted but seemed enthused by things like "You live ten minutes or less away" and "You like to stay up until midnight".

The bad point is that while talking to him, the omlette wrap I was nibbling decided that I would be better suited to the title "Cheesebeard, Lord of the Spanish Wrap" (Yarrrr. Yarrrrlsburg, matey. Arrr.) and dribbled on me, which prompted quick napkining while he snickered at me.

So... yeah. Okay, it's done. He'll call, in theory.

You're too hard on yourself Sqrl. I'm sure he's used to the food of the establishment attacking it's patrons. I bet it's one of the high points of his day. As for jobby goodness, I'm sure he will call you, and when you accept the job, which I'm sure you will, you will do just fine.

Just don't mention you tend to blow up the equipment they work with (yes, I did once. Remarkably I did get invited back for a second interview... kinda).

"You like to stay up until midnight" - yikes, is it just me that thinks of midnight as about lunchtime? It is? Oh, okay. I'll go away now.
