There's finally a release date for that Daria full-series box set. Eight discs, May 11th. I'm kind of excited! If only because now I can get rid of these horrible TV-rips and watch it properly.

You might want to hang on to the TV rips just for archival's sake; my understading is they had to change a LOT of the music in Daria to put it on DVD.

They did attempt to find reasonable replacements though, using cover versions of songs instead of the originals, etc.

Thing is, the rips I had (already gone) were off The N, which already did music changes and a lot of editing for time/content. Ah well.
