Recently I was guided to the idea that maybe I'd like to put together my five favorite Phineas and Ferb episodes for a friend of mine who is just starting on the show.

This is a lie, I came up with this idea myself, but it was provoked by someone admitting they'd never seen the show properly so ... yeah, anyway!

Under the cut, I provide Youtube links to exactly that. Yes, this post is me championing a children's show.

Oh. First, the extended theme song, for the premise.

5. Out to Launch. Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3. In which a star is purchased, a rocket is built, and SO MUCH goes wrong.
4. Tip of the Day, in which Shoelace Awareness is championed.
3. The Ballad of Badbeard, in which the kids try to find Pirate Treasure.
2. Hail Doofainia, in which the villain (and his robot) attempt to build their own country.

Finally... this is hard, but probably my favorite episode...

1. "Dude, We're Getting the Band Back Together", Part 1 and Part 2. In which the boys and Candace do something really nice for their parents.

This should be all you REALLY need to watch to understand/enjoy the show from there on!
