Today I learned, after working up some courage, that dry Kool Aid powder is EXACTLY LIKE a Pixi-Stik, except more granular.

This discovery is COMPLETELY insignificant, but was FUN to make.

When I was young, my sister and I substituted kool-aid powder for sugar in a cake recipe once. The cake oozed fruityness. It was almost edible!

Hey, at least it wasn't Princess Cake. (oogh, thinking about that STILL makes me sick...)

.. you must have the Kool-Ade with the sugar already in it. The little envelopes are hideously bitter!

I feel so deprived...

Y'see, down here in New Zealand, we don't get kool Aid. I've heard so many wonderful stories about it, though. And by wonderful, I mean terrifying. You people actually consume that stuff?!?

Of course, this just makes me that much eager to try it. One day, I'll live the dream.
