I always prefered the version that starts with tada.wav, then slows it to a grinding halt followed by the sound of breaking glass. Wonder if I still have that file stuck around here anywhere...
Hmmm. I'll have to see (well, hear) what the Win7 version of the startup sound is like presuming UPS finally shows up with it today. Part of me is actually hoping it's kinda sucky, so I'll have an excuse to replace it with sinistar.wav. ;-)
