There were so many ways this could've gone wrong. I thought I saw some of them, creeping up. Let the audience self-insert character do everything. Layer the sentiment on too thick. Get lost in cheap throwaway gags. Vanish into the collective fuzzy navel of the Muppets cast.

They pulled it off. I feel... I feel really good about this film. I'm glad I saw it. It worked.
