I used to write in this journal an AWFUL lot, much more than I do now. I felt terribly nostalgic, and decided to repost some highlights.

Yes, I'm now actually in -clip show- mode. This is me winding down into Sucktown, I guess. But I felt like reposting my favorite of, uh, myself, because after like a week I am a different person to me. No memory at all, you understand.

I've been posting for six years, so I'm just going to scattershot some stuff under the cut.

Let's see. Where to start...
Cut. )

Also, reading back in my journal? I am totally way more intelligent, social, able to think clearly, and FUN TO BE AROUND when I am on prozac. What the -fuck- am I doing -off- it? Dumb dumb dumb NO NO NO. Medicate.

It is actually TOO COLD IN HERE to sleep.

While I watched, the thermostat (which claims the heater is maxed out at 71 degrees) showed the temperature dropping from 54 to 50 degrees F. We appear to have no functioning heat, -again-. This happens yearly, we should have known. It never turns on any year until some guy comes and hits it with a wrench. (HEATER GOIN UP)

Still.

It is 50 degrees in here.

I am -cold-. And that's INSIDE. It is goddamn near CANADIAN outside. And by that, I mean single digits.

Year after year, I am reminded that this state is a frozen hellhole that likes to go "SPRING SUMMER SKIP A FEW WINTER BITCH BWAHA!"

(We intend to call tomorrow and ask what the hell is up. Until then, I will stay warm with noodle dishes with instructions like "Stir until noodles are willing to bend.")

A few days back, they replaced the thermostat in our apartment with a brand new digital one. They also made an Amusing Mistake: They put the wires backwards, so as it got colder and colder, it kept the heat more and more resolutely shut off.

When the guy switched those wires, the heat kicked in like crazy. Thank goodness. Maybe now I can sleep.

I don't suppose any of you out there have done hackwork/custom-firmware installation to a PSP, and are willing to do it again? I have all the appropriate tools to create a memory stick for such, but I am completely brick-walled by being on Windows 7, which appears to shut down the entire process.

After waiting about three weeks for the battery, spending this much on the system, etc, I will be DAMNED if this will stop me. My options are either "mail this to someone I trust, have them do it" or "buy a dodgy pre-modded memory stick, use that".

I am honestly willing to take either option. I am -very- tired.
