Introduced game to boyfriend. He is playing it as I type, leveling up to try a kind of evolution I've only heard about and never had the guts to test myself. There's talk of selling the Wii to a friend who'd appreciate it more and getting a second DS for him. We could trade and breed monsters together.

Speaking of breeding, tried out the Digimon "Egg Mingle" feature with a friend. He knocked up my giant robot and got a nightmareish beast from the dark corners of the psyche. I ended up getting a fuzzy kitty out of the deal. Good trade all around.

Am downloading season 1 of the anime. Recognizing the familiar pangs of addiction. Should try to finish off lingering anime shows and Secret Life of Machines before I plunge hollow-eyed, and eager for mechadragons, into more digimedia.

I never -was- much good at avoiding the hooks of toy-based media empires. Pray for me if you care to. I'm going back in.

Well. I like the Pokemons too.
I am just not as enthused about them as I used to be. Digimon appears to be to Pokemon what ADOM is to Nethack: "MORE STUFF OMG COMPLEX AIEE."

Keep in mind, if you're downloading all of the animes:

Season 3 is Darker and Edgier, we do not TALK about Season 4, and Season 5 is what would happen if Digimon starred Simon from Gurren Lagann.

Thus, not all of them are as... cute as the first two seasons.
