Feeling better.

Well. Antidepressants? Yes. Upped the dosage very slightly, but on the whole things are... well.

The year went by in the usual way
Some friends were lost
some friends were made.
Money was spent
money was saved
And in the end we're all okay.

(Yeah, I officially like this Her Space Holiday band.)

I recently watched the finale of an Internet-based TV show I didn't know about previously, called Consolevania. It started out as a retrospective, talking about games of the year. Then, gradually, the voice-over went off script, talking about how they were tired of being game reviewers, they just wanted to be game PLAYERS, and they were sick of the people who wanted them to slag off video games instead of enjoying them, to say nothing of pumping out joyless text and words about things they had to rush through...

I think I need to slow down and enjoy things more, if I'm going to stay positive. And I want to stay positive. Gotta remember that.

It would be neat to read or watch video game reviews that are nothing but manic joyful positives, where every game is instantly the best game ever and every feature is celebrated in a positive light. <3
