A cascade of irony.
Jan. 9th, 2009 12:11 amWe, again, must clean the apartment or risk being thrown out, on final warning this time. Given that we had been of the opinion the place -was- clean, we're forced to assume that the problem is not a trash buildup, as we'd been suspecting, but some other, deeper cause, such as we naturally smell horrible in spite of showers and such. This being our third apartment so far we've been threatened/thrown out of for this reason... yeah.
We are, of course, cleaning feverishly, shampooing carpets and scrubbing walls and throwing out old clothes and the like.
No, we don't want advice. Again. Or more sympathy. Just letting folks know. In the event we become homeless and such, you understand.
And no, no antidepressants forthcoming.
I suppose it's good to get the whole crisis business out of the way at the start of the year, to keep things free and clear for the rest of the year.
