Because I adore the stupid thing, I'd like to present my NXE 360 Avatar.



And the boyfriend's.

Lately I've been playing a lot of chirpy bright lighthearted platformer games. Been thinking about digging out Ratchet and Clank and trying to beat it this time, when I'm done with Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts and maybe Sly Cooper. This may be a massive backswing from my gaming stint at shooting everything that moves. I'm not sure. I just really want to run around in brightly colored worlds collecting 100 of things, right now.

Meanwhile, I should actually eat ... y'know. Lunch occasionally. I tend to have a breakfast and a dinner and just ignore lunch. Maybe that's why I'm so tired in the middle of the day. Dunno.

Yay for collecting 100 of things!

I beat the original Ratchet and Clank not that long ago. It's kinda frustrating though because once you beat the game there's tons of unlockable stuff and a secret bonus ending. ^.^;;

Meanwhile, I am a fat scruffy guy with good front teeth and a huge underbite. Does that mean I outrank you, or vice versa? :)

I think it means that if we put our jaws together you'd have both a reasonably "normal" set of teeth and one that would terrify a dentist into changing religions.

And yeah, I sorta love the Avatar functionality. You can twirl them around and make them dizzy, or poke them with the camera controls, or... er... dress them up! ... In very limited clothing. So far. I'm hoping for better clothes soon.

Also, wings and tails, since they have elf ears and big pointy ears available.

I was thinking of buying a game system, but realized that I'm incredibly in the mood for long ridiculous JRPGs. And realized, looking at the game selection in that category, that most are (still) for the PS2.

So a PS2 for me. Means I can go play Okami too. Yum.

Hmmm. Actually, sounds like Rachet and Clank would be right up your alley at this point--you run around brightly colored worlds collecting hundreds of things (well, collecting 'cash', anyway) *and* shoot everything that moves. Alternatively, I might suggest the first Jak game--you don't get to shoot stuff, but you do collect stuff (Jak 2 and 3 add the shooting back in...but the collection aspect's not as fun..way too many races, *ring*-races (I *hate* those things), and otherwise timed events for me).
