So, heck with it. I'm being greedy, again.

My Amazon.com Wish List

Disclaimers: I do not expect anyone to purchase from this, although it would be goddamn awesome considering the financial crapfest that is my life... Of course, that crapfest applies to/is worse for a LOT of you guys as well, so there's no reason to strain yourselves or your bank accounts on my ... er... account.

I try to keep it at 10 pages because that is aesthetically pleasing to me, so I have a LOT of random amusing junk on there -- If I see it and it strikes me as pleasing that I might own it, I add it. Feel free to sort it by price, by priority... anything but "By Date", which is default.

If you add a tag or requirement, like "I'm buying you this, BUT REVIEW IT HERE!" or "Write a little story about the game when you get it!" or that kind of thing, I'll try my damndest to accomplish your task.

Also, if something strikes you as "What the hell is that?" and you want to talk about it here? Post and ask about it. I love talking about random brickabrack.

As always I feel vaguely embarrassed about this. This is why the long disclaimer. ... Also, this list makes it MASSIVELY obvious that my main loves are... video games and anime. Sigh. I got broken somewhere.

I don't have Rogue Galaxy, but if you wanted the strategy guide, I'd have no problem giving up my copy! :B

Also, you forgot 'books, especially about video games and anime' there. There are a LOT of books there.

Oh, and I'll also advise you against DQ4 in a "Totally not worth list price" fashion. -_- Much like Order of Ecclesia, it was a vast disappointment to me.

The translation and the fact that, yes, they INTENTIONALLY AXED the inter-party conversation option, are hideous strikes against it already, yes. Aside from that, the bonus content was, much like the FF remakes, practically shoehorned in without any thought of continuity, and..

Well, it doesn't pull any punches in the fact that yes, it's still an NES RPG. To paraphrase Yahtzee, you end up eating a big old grind sandwich by the time you're done. Really, its biggest problems, to me, is that it is what it is, and nostalgia wasn't quite as kind as I recalled it.

(Of course, for how OBNOXIOUSLY DIFFICULT the normal enemies are, the remake version of the final boss seems like a retarded gimp compared to his NES version)

...Okay, it's not quite as bad as 7, but it's no 8, either. It's really a cut and dried remake, aside from the "hed is pastded on yay" bonus content. Aside from difficulty tweaks here and there, its only changes are in translation, graphics, and music.

Oh, and the ability to actually CONTROL your party members in Chapter 5 if you so desire.
