I think trying to follow the plotlines in the 90s X-Men cartoon just gave the boyfriend a nosebleed.

His brains are trying to escape. I love when that happens.

(To be fair, it's a Shi'Ar/Apocolypse/Mr. Sinister Time Travel Plotline. MY brains would rupture if I didn't have special continuity-ignorant training.)

Man, X-Men Continuity is harsh anyway. At that point, weren't they trying to take a couple years worth of several X-Title continuity and boil them down into something that would fit into a single convoluted storyarc?
