What do I want to write?
Quite a bit of stuff, actually.
For Sqrlgames:
1. Continue the Morrowind journal.
2. "Randomly-Generated Adventure", on Roguelikes and Dungeon Crawls. Cover: Diablo 2 Eastern Sun, Sacred, Silverfall, Mysterious Dungeon, possibly text-based games like ADOM or Crawl.
3. "Painting the Wall of Text", on visual novels. Cover Lost Odyssey, Narcissu, Phoenix Wright, Time Hollow, Trace Memory, the Nassuverse, other games of this type. My first article to touch on porn. Whee!
4. Wheel of Gametap, on Project Runway at least.
For here:
1. Explore thoughts on art/drawing/visual mediums. Why do I cringe away from them? What -does- work for me?
2. Thoughts on food. I like food. I should talk more about what and why. (As the boyfriend noted, "I can tell if you like a meal if it takes you longer to explain it than to eat it.")
3. Update "I'm dead" post to be unlocked after death, just in case.
What I've ACTUALLY been doing is flopping around reading and watching old Monkees episodes on TV. I want to write these things, but I can't get the energy or enthusiasm to do it going. This makes me afraid something is terribly wrong with me.
Ohwell. At least I'm happy in general.

Well, if it helps, I look forward to seeing/reading any of these things!

Date: 2008-10-06 03:37 pm (UTC)Actually, a short (non-)project might be passing something like a Dwarf Fortress game back and forth until we destroy the place (which should be almost immediate, since I can barely parse the UI for that game) and then we can write it up in style!
I wonder what else could be done that way?
I'm eager to hear about Sacred by the way! I picked that up semi-recently, but didn't get too far. I keep meaning to go back, because it's honestly fun and sorta hilarious!

Date: 2008-10-06 04:38 pm (UTC)Or, y'know, take screenshots and formulate ridiculous fiction wholesale. I like that, too!
I hear you on attention span, that's what happened to my game of it, too.
