People have asked what I'm watching/summarizing, anime-wise.

I answer!

Currently, we have six series on tap. Episodes for a night are chosen by rolling a d6 three times. Then we watch three episodes. And repeat, maybe. We are enormous nerds.

1- Death Note | Potato Chips Eaten : 02/37
2- Inukami | Viewed: 03/26
3- Fate Stay Night | Viewed: 20/24
4- Goddamn Wing | Viewed: 05/49
5- Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni | Viewed: 16/26
6- Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann | Viewed: 21/27

Now, on tap after these are done are the Suggested Shows. (Feel free to suggest some shows for me to watch, as always.)

Suggested Shows:

Downloaded--

Higurashi No etc etc Kai (season 2 and movie-special)
Banner of the Stars seasons 1 to 3
The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (movie)
Last Exile
Melancholy of Haruhi Whatshername

Not yet Downloaded--

Princess Tutu
Eurkea Seven
Eureka's Castle

I know someone reccomended a few more, but I can't remember what they were. This is part of why I'm writing these here.

You need to watch the one that's about a realistic military vehicle pilot who's not a 15 years old pacifist with giant vibrating anime-eyes fighting in a war he doesn't want to fight in, and who has a talking cat/dog/ferret/penguin with extra special powers and the ability to turn into a 15 year-old girl with freaky-long anime hair and short-tight Japanese schoolgirl outfit, and where the enemy isn't an extra-dimensional, extra-terrestrial superbeing with rock-star hair that can shoot city-leveling death-beams from his palms after screaming and charging up for half an episode.

Oh...wait...hasn't been dubbed yet!

Yes'm. But on the way out, have to say I've enjoyed he reviews, and Last Exile was quite well animated and had a fairly compelling story.

There's a fairly new anime I've been watching -- and it's already been dubbed by the creators themselves. Called The Tower of DRUAGA -the Aegis of URUK-, it recounts the story of one guy's trials climbing the aforementioned tower. Of course, it's a lot more complex than that. :)
I recommend it 'cause it's, well, funny -- the first episode especially so. And it's on Youtube in fairly watchable quality, so there's no real downloading time to worry about.

There are two (two!) kitsune shows this season: the terrible but oh-so-fluffy Kanokon, and the not-terrible-so-far Oinari-sama. Both may be worth checking out an ep or two of. I'll heartily plug Haruhi Suzumiya too, since you already have it in the queue. And I'll recommend Kekkaishi; it's still ongoing, but which the first couple of seasons of it were really remarkably good, especially for its genre (standard shonen 'must get better to protect those close to me'.)

Actually, they're both single-tailed -- but both 'kitsune' in that they're fox-spirits regularly taking (mostly-)human forms. And in terms of completed shows along disturbingly similar lines (yeah, there's been a flood of these lately) there's Spice and Wolf, but I can't recommend that one one way or the other because I just haven't gotten around to it yet myself. *hangs head*

I'd personally recommend Code Geass, it's impressing me so far. It's kinda like Death Note got into a street fight with Mobile Suit Gundam, then they got drunk, made up, and went to a party at Buckingham Palace.

This is about as apt a description as I could ever muster for Code Geass!

Eureka Seven is dubbed on t.v. here, it's shown on YTV around the same time as Naruto, Bleach and Death Note. I've seen clips of it but somehow it seems really heartless... I don't know why. As in, lacking 'heart' rather than any kind of cruelty. The costumes on a few of the characters are intriguing, but nothing really 'catches' me when I watch bits while channel surfing.

Nothing much I can reccomend right now. Mostly watching Dr. Who and Torchwood lately, and I downloaded a bunch of Captain Harlock and Galaxy Express 999 to watch after I finish 'em.
