Well, THIS was a weird series. It started out as a hilarious look at suicide and depression, then wandered into harem anime areas, and looped back through goofy crud on the way to making Important Social Points.

I liked it! But there's not a lot you can say about a wild comedy anime like this. Well... there's not a lot I can say. The artwork was kinda awesome, though. I love the patterning on Nozumo's robes and hair, for example. Also, this show is a great example of how to take one-note stereotype characters and KEEP MAKING THEM FUNNY by applying them to new situations and each other vigorously. I approve of that. They don't stagnate, they develop into NEW and INTERESTING dysfunctions.

We've replaced Armor Hunter Mellowlink with Inukami!, a lighthearted anime about perverts and sexy dog-girls, and we've replaced SZS with Death Note, an over-the-top comedy about psychodrama and overanalysis. I think there's also a subplot about murder or something. Please look forward to future summaries!
