Woof: "Snrk. Heehee."
Sqrl: "Huh?"
Woof: *pointing at TV* "Our product has three floating heads that follow you everywhere!"
Sqrl: *BIGeyes* "Ooh! Cool! What is it?"
Woof: "It's a razor. Blade heads, like..."
Sqrl: "...aww. I thought they'd started marketing straight to me for a second."
Meanwhile, there isn't a lot going on with me, because I have both damaged my back in some way (I'm not sure how... started with an ache in my shoulder, spread all over my back, now it aches dully all the time. I am annoyed. I'm going to reconfigure my bed before I use it again.) and incidentally a mild cold, enough to make me feel Oogy. This is not optimal.
Still, I do intend to do as was recommended and get to work on a sample review... or a small review portfolio if I'm feeling particularly energetic or insomniac. Lots of spell checking. Be myself. I can do this. ... And then I will hyperventilate and die. What was I thinking? Panic attack.
Okay. I'm better. *ahem* Anyway.
Part of the problem is that I'm going to have to adjust my writing style to not include certain aspects. Professionalism is always a good thing, and I should try to have it. I probably lack the polish to be any kind of professional... well, anything, but I particularly feel like the more I learn about writing, the worse my own writing seems to me.
Not sure how to deal with this. In any event, I still have to wait for a reply to my mail, if the positions aren't already filled. (Just think how nervous I'd be if this were a paying position!)

In regards to the review: Yes, a sample or five would be a good idea to have on hand. Also, professionalism is good, but for hell's sake, keep it -you-. And you know what I mean by that, or, er, at least should. ;P
I want to read 'em when you're done!
