So the woof and I have been talking and it occurred to us that maybe we could keep focused better if we listed out what we're doing. If we list what we're doing before starting anything new, then we can maybe actually finish it instead of leaving a pile of half-done stuff in our wake.

So!

Stuff to WATCH:

Night Watch (from Netflix) (Both)
Gurren Lagann (Sqrl)
Gaogaigar (Sqrl)
Muppet Show Season 2 (both)
Crest/Banner of the Stars (both)
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (and second season) (sqrl/possibly both)
Sayonara, Zetsubou Sensei (both)
Fate/Stay Night (both)
Armor Hunter MellowLink (both)

Also, go through Netflix cache and see what we can remember actually -starting- and what we need a refresher on.

Stuff to READ:

Whales on Stilts, promised Orrin a review of this like a year ago. (Sqrl)
Rest of David Eddings series #28127 (Woof)

Stuff to PLAY:

Earthbound (Woof)
Last few scenarios of Kagetsu Toyha (Woof)
Disgaea (Both)
Assassin's Creed (Sqrl)
Pikmin (Sqrl)

If you watch through Gao Gai Gar and like it, I'm told it's worth moving up to Goddannar--same director, same general theory with cute chicks and mecha and stoof, only moreso.

Plot: guy with mecha saves girl with mecha, they get married and find out that their mechas can join into Super Married Mecha. Then guy's exflames come around, as does his mother and sister, all of whom have mecha of their own...

It's like a 70s sitcom with giant robots!

Fair warning, it and Gai-gai-gar (or how it's spelled) have more giant boobies than a macrophile's birdhouse. It gets kind of silly.

Y'know, thinking about it, you might get a kick out of Great Teacher Onizuka. My sister loved the hell out of it (though skip the live-action series, it's awful), and you two seem to have decidedly similar tastes.

THE WORLD HAS FILLED ME WITH DESPAIR!

I'm still frustrated because I can't see the last episode of Gurren Lagann to my satisfaction. The Gurren Lagann I downloaded is all too high quality, in SUPER ULTIMATE HIGH REZ GETTA BREAKER and not even mplayer can get it to move smoothly, or even fast enough for me to read all the subtitles. ;.;

And how come you have this av if you haven't watched it yet?
