Replying to Porsupah on the previous post made me think of something.

I generally don't make my own likeness in video games. I shy away from representing myself as myself. There's a reason for that.

My name is Gordy, and I am a video game asshole.

I've been making money in Mass Effect by getting people to ask me to break the law, telling the police that they're trying to use me for illegal purposes, then going back to the original person and telling them I sold them out for the fun of it. I play Burnout and Flatout and even some NASCAR games for the sole purpose of slamming into traffic head-on. I pick all the dialogue choices that are heavily smartass.

I shoot people in the groin, nudge them into traffic, and spinning-piledriver them off hundred story buildings. I try not to break the law or take the "Evil" route... just the funny, dickerly route.

Anybody else do this? Or have other weird gaming habits?

(Does this belong in Sqrlgames? Hrm.)

Have you ever played Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas?

There's a quest where you tie a guy to the hood of a car and drive at high speed into oncomming traffic on the Las Vegas strip. ^.^

I found C.J. to be a sort of Black Knight character. The police are crooked and you're just trying to do what's right. It's illegal, but the law is crooked anyway. He was usually trying to do what was right, he was just in a bad situation. Obviously he doesn't wanna be a gang banger 'cause he ran out on L.S. and moved to Liberty City, but he had to go back for his mom's funeral and that's when he got framed, and damn that rabbit hole went deep.

In the end he takes out the corrupt cops and cleans the cocaine off the streets.

Of course, on the road there are a lot of innocent people getting killed, and a lot of people calling their car insurance agents...

And golly, how many times did I steal a private jet then skydive out of it down to my personal airport just 'cause it was faster than landing the plane...

My hobby is spawning NPCs in Garry's Mod (For Half Life 2) and then either forcing them to fight each other Cockfight style, or getting them to do any number of horrible things. I like making a raft out of crates, welding dynamite to the bottom of the raft, and then spawning Combine (Read:Stormtroopers) on top.

I tend towards the "Petty Evil" route, not just the "Eat Planets for Breakfast" route. KOTOR was my favorite, though I must now own Mass Effect.

Ah, the "bilk 'em for every cent" route? Always my favorite in Bioware games - and even moreso in Fallout, where there is certainly no problems with levelling an entire city if someone doesn't give you yo damn money, beeyatch.

Yeah, I'm like you in that respect. Though I generally play a game where 'choices' matter, both good, and dickery run throughs. Just to see what kind of difference it makes.
