For the record, I still feel like my opinions on various media and suchlike are bad and wrong and I shouldn't have them. This is what's put the Wheel O' Gametap on hold. I pretty much feel like anything I say will be greeted with a vague "Who cares?" or a lowering of other people's opinion of me.

On the other hand, even browsing a review site or talking with people about what they've enjoyed can send me into a quick spiral of bitterness and depression as I consider just how much my opinions differ from other people's and such.

Sometimes I wonder if most of the Internet is set to "Other people (don't) LIKE this? What's wrong with them?" and I'm set to "I (don't) like this. What's wrong with me?"

And now I'm worried that I'm worrying too much. When did my life become a Monty Python song?

For once, the Internet's right. In a phrase, to hell with 'em.

Like what you like, and others will like what they like, and that's pretty much all that needs to be said. (I can't stand, however, how so many people (especially online) always seem to want to take vague snipes at people who don't like what they do, or do like what they don't like.)

There is no standards level when it comes to fun--at least not when it comes to damned videogames, for crying out loud. Nothing will ever be "wrong" with you for liking or not liking a videogame of any type, so just relax. :)

I do kinda wish it was just games, but it's more a wholehearted self-esteem issue.

It comes and goes. Was bad last night, not so much now. Go figure.

I like your opinions, even when they contradict with mine; you're at the very least not on of the rampaging "YOU MUST LIKE THIS GAME OR YOU HAVE NO SPLEEN AND HATE AMERICA" crowds, like those Halo zealots over there.

well I found out it's damn ugly and controls like a butt
and all the features I was looking for are neutered or cut
but if you check the Internet you'll see that it's getting Best Game In The World

so I'd much rather sit around and play me an old favourite game
the ones that aren't so well known or that everyone thinks are just lame
