Some thoughts over fried chicken:

Legend of Cao Cao = CAO CAO'S NON-STOP PARTY TRAIN. Seriously. Every other mission is like "Lord Cao Cao, someone who is incredibly skilled wants to join us!" "HA HA! THIS IS AWESOME! More beer now."

I cannot stop picturing him as played by Raoul Julia.

Wei Kingdom are TOTALLY Ravenclaw. They have all the smart peoples who have PLANS.
Shu Kingdom are totally Gryffindor. All BLEEDING NOBLE and SUPER GOOD. Also they like SWORDS.
Wu Kingdom are Hufflepuff. They have the people who are kiiinda important butnotreally.
Lu Bu is -totally Slytherin all by himself-. The WHOLE GODDAMN HOUSE. ... Diao Chan can come too.

Meanwhile the Emperor is all like Muggling it up with his group over there like "What? I don't understand. Where's the tea?" and "What plot? NO PLOTTING HERE IN CHINA NOPE."

Meanwhile I maintain that Liu Bei and company should have a three-part combining robot with a peach symbology thing going on, and Guan Yu can form the SPEAR.

That pretty much sums up the entire Romance right there, I think.

The sad part is, that I totally agree with you on this - even if it's been ten years or more since I played Romance of the Three Kingdoms II.

<3 the game.

I'm honestly surprised by how much you can work out of the Three Kingdoms story.

No kidding. Apparently, The Battle of Red Cliff, which covers ONE battle out of the entire saga, had too much stuff for one movie, so they had to make it a two-parter.

Needless to say, I am very excited.
