Over the years, I've had thoughts of playing... on a MUCK, or MUD, or whatever:

- A kobold.
- A Dragon Quest edition Slime.
- A prinny.
- A Slime Knight -riding- a Prinny.
- Etc.

Only just now do I realize that... frankly? I just want to be an adorable one-hit-die mascot monster. Deep down, y'know.

This is easy enough to handle. You just need to write a best-selling RPG with an NPC mascot critter that is a small, round squirrely thing that eats and sleeps a lot, which we will call a "Sqrl". Then you lisence the plush toy rights and watch the PROFITS ROLL IN.

Squirrels kind of -are- a one hit mascotish monster--you're cute, inoffensive, pacisfitic, and obviously unrelated to the overall arc of things but instead content to live our your days with a gleeful naivete and blissfully ignorant giggle at the world around you.

All until some moronic level 1 Hero Guy hits you with a stick and tries to harvest your innards. Thankfully, you types respawn at alarming rates!
