Sadly, those games don't have nearly enough story to keep us interested. Basically if it's just plain kill-stuff-get-a-story-snippet-repeat, that's probably not good enough.
I forget if you played D:OS2 but it was pretty fun with my friend playing the Red Prince and me and another friend poking fun at him with our respective chars. We basically got to throw in all the little banter that would go with a tabletop RPG.
