Now I'm watching the Olympics! Follow me through my early morning TV surfing!
So I'm developing this incredible emotional bond with the Cuban Women's Vollyball Olympic Team because they're really cute and bouncy, in a 16-year-old girl way. They're probably more like 20-25, but they're all gleeful and group-hugging when they score a point, and because they're up against China, a team made entirely of mopey looking females, this is amusing me deeply. For a while it looked like they'd hugged all their energy out of each other, but now they're making a comeback.
I am amazed that I can fall in love with an Olympic team in less than half an hour. Clearly I need to watch more of this sporting event, or something. Or perhaps this will be my brief bittersweet fling from afar before I move on to the greener grass of Cartoon Network, losing the Cuban Women's Vollyball team forever to what might have been and their impending gold.
