The hairstyle's not the only thing insane about Mewt. There's also the fact that he's the only fictional character I know of who managed to pull off self-insertion into his own story! Witness Twem, Mewt's new protector after Judgemaster Cid divorces the exectutive and judicial branches of the goverment.

Holy crud. This is going to get me wound up into some kind of half-assed dissertation on how FFT Advance is the worst fanfiction ever, because it stars the biggest Mary Sue in all of existence. (Or, alternately, that it's the biggest satire on fanfiction in video game history.)

You know, Jae... That's entirely possible, considering the kids knew of and played Final Fantasy crpgs in the "Real" world and then got wished into a Final Fantasy game.
