I keep forgetting just how BAD the original campaign for Neverwinter Nights was. A long tedious slog of a thing through endless giant empty rooms, stopping only to pick up 1 gold piece or a gem out of random boxes lining the walls.
I'll play the other campaigns (which are good) and some choice fan modules (which are GREAT) sometime when I'm not soaked in fatigue from chapter 1 of this mess. I finished up to Chapter 2 and just... ughhhhh. So boring.
Trying out Druid didn't help, as this IS a Bioware joint so maintaining neutrality means you either have to just not do quests or try to balance every "I did a good thing!" with an "I'LL PUNCH YOUR MOM" or else you wander out of neutral alignment.
S'bad, guys. I remember it feeling good-to-decent at the TIME. But man it's a slog.
